2011 Year in Review
Things not written down or recorded are usually forgotton...plain & simple! As another year draws to an end, it is time to reflect and preserve the individual and family memories of the past year. The Hansen family's year in review! WOW, it was yet another amazing year for Welby, Ally and all the kids. I am sure I won't catch all that happened this year but here are a few of the milestones and highlights of our year:
Welby & Ally - The year started off with the adoption of Tyler and Carter on April 7th and started the beginning of our new life as a family with three young boys. We celebrated 8 years together. In the Spring we upgraded our trailer from a 19ft Zinger to a 30ft Laredo and even added a new truck. We enjoyed several long weekends in the new setup. Welby sadly sold his Harley and traded the Hummer in for a sporty Nissan Z. Ally was able to spend some quality time with her cousin Amy and family when they visited in July and with Uncle Bryce during a trip to Virginia in July. She even took a class to learn Chinese hoping to keep up with Landon. Fitness was enjoyed by both of us as we hired a personal trainer, lost some weight and started a life long journey to eating better and getting into shape together.
Landon turned 7 this year and lost his two front teeth in December. Tyler celebrated his 5th birthday and started Kindergarten. The two boys enjoyed T-Ball and Soccer. Carter turned 3, finally lost his binkies and started potty training.
Weddings were huge this year as Alisha and Jason tied the knot on May 21th and Heather and Berto were married on December 10th. Two very beautiful brides. Welcome to the family Jason and Berto!!
Alexis and Brynnley just get cuter and sweeter as each day passes. Alexis is in Kindergarten and is doing great. She just lost her first bottom tooth and she loves music and friends. Brynnley, at two years old, can already tell you all her colors, count to eleven and knows all her shapes. She is going to be a smart one.
Chelsie and Stephan celebrated 10 years together and have just started up a small business fixing up and reselling cars. Brad and Carley and their three dogs are keeping extremely busy working, working, working.
